Fairway Mini Golf
Terms & conditions
Last updated:
These terms apply when you book Fairway Mini Golf for an event.
1. About Fairway
Fairway Mini Golf is the operator of the mobile mini-golf event services described in these terms.
Legal operator: Fairway Mini Golf
2. These terms
These terms apply to bookings for Fairway's portable and mobile mini-golf services, including weddings, corporate events, garden parties, gala setups and other agreed events.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights. If you book on behalf of a company, venue or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to make the booking.
3. Booking and availability
Event dates remain subject to availability until Fairway confirms the booking. Before making payment, you should ensure that the event date, venue and package have been agreed or confirmed with Fairway.
A contract is formed when Fairway has received the payment required for the booking and sends confirmation of the booking, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Payment through Stripe alone does not confirm availability or guarantee an event date.
If payment is made but Fairway cannot accept the requested date or booking, we will offer an alternative where appropriate or refund the payment.
Your venue must fall within the advertised service area for your selected package unless Fairway agrees otherwise in writing. Payment does not override geographical availability. Contact us before paying if your venue is outside the stated area; any exceptional out-of-area booking must be confirmed by Fairway in writing.
Service area
Fairway's standard published packages are available within the following service areas:
- Corporate Events — Merseyside only.
- Garden Party — Merseyside only.
- Gala Setup — Merseyside only.
- The Wedding White Course — the North West of England.
Availability remains subject to the specific venue, access requirements and event date.
If an event is outside the stated service area for a package, please contact Fairway before making payment. We may be able to provide a bespoke quotation, but availability and any additional travel or delivery charges must be agreed in writing before booking. Fairway is not obliged to accept bookings outside these areas.
4. Packages, prices and quotes
Package prices shown on the Fairway website are fixed for the package described at the time of booking.
Any additional services, bespoke requirements, travel charges or changes requested by the customer will only be charged where they have been clearly communicated and agreed before the additional cost is incurred.
Bespoke events or arrangements that fall outside the published packages may be quoted separately. Prices displayed are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Payment
Online package payments are processed using Stripe Payment Links. Fairway does not collect or store full payment-card details on this website.
Any different deposit or balance arrangement agreed for a bespoke booking must be set out in writing.
6. What is included
We supply the package and inclusions displayed on the booking page or agreed in writing.
The Garden Party package is currently described as “Delivery only”. Where a package is described as “delivery only”, setup, supervision or other services are not included unless Fairway confirms otherwise in writing.
7. Venue, space and access
You are responsible for:
- obtaining permission from the venue or property owner;
- providing accurate venue and access information;
- telling us about stairs, restricted access, long carrying distances or other material access issues;
- ensuring there is a suitable and reasonably safe area for the booked course; and
- ensuring we can access the site at agreed delivery, setup and collection times.
Fairway may refuse to install or operate equipment where the location is unsafe or materially different from the information supplied. Where reasonably possible, we will first discuss alternative placement with you.
8. Equipment
All Fairway equipment remains Fairway's property. You and your guests must use it reasonably, follow safety and use instructions, and not deliberately damage or misuse it. Do not move installed equipment without permission where doing so may create a safety or damage risk.
You may be responsible for the reasonable cost of loss or damage caused by deliberate misuse, negligence or failure to take reasonable care while equipment is entrusted to you. We do not charge for fair wear and tear.
9. Children and supervision
Children using the course must be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult.
For delivery-only or otherwise unsupervised packages, you are responsible for reasonable supervision of participants while the equipment is in use. Fairway staff supervision is only included where stated in the package or agreed in writing.
10. Event times and delays
Please respect the agreed access, setup, hire and collection times. If Fairway is delayed, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.
If access or setup is delayed because you or the venue are not ready, we will try to accommodate the delay but may not always be able to extend the agreed hire period.
11. Weather and outdoor events
Outdoor events are naturally affected by weather. You should discuss a suitable indoor or sheltered alternative with the venue where practical.
Fairway may pause, relocate, delay or decline an outdoor setup where conditions make use unsafe or create an unreasonable risk of damage.
If we are unable to provide the booked service at all, we will offer a suitable alternative date where both parties agree or refund the amount paid for the service that was not provided.
If you choose to cancel while Fairway remains able to perform the service safely, the customer-cancellation provisions below apply.
12. Customer cancellation
If you need to cancel, please tell us as soon as possible by emailing bookings@fairwayminigolf.co.uk.
Because Fairway event hire is normally booked for a specific date or period, the statutory 14-day cancellation right that applies to many online purchases will generally not apply to bookings for those event dates.
Where you cancel a confirmed booking, we may deduct from any refund only reasonable costs and losses caused directly by the cancellation. We will take account of costs we no longer have to incur and any ability to rebook the date. We will not seek to recover the same loss twice.
Any remaining amount due to you will be refunded using an appropriate payment method. This does not limit any statutory right to cancel or receive a refund that applies to your booking.
13. Changing the event date
We will try to accommodate a request to move your event date, subject to availability. A changed date is not guaranteed until confirmed. Any change in price or additional reasonable cost must be agreed before the change is confirmed.
14. Cancellation by Fairway
Fairway may need to cancel where it cannot reasonably provide the service, for example because of serious illness, vehicle or equipment failure, unsafe conditions or another event outside its reasonable control.
If we cancel and cannot provide the booked service, you may choose an alternative date where available or receive a refund for the service not provided.
15. Events outside reasonable control
Events genuinely outside either party's reasonable control, such as severe weather, flooding, road closures or legal restrictions, may affect the booking. The affected party should tell the other promptly.
Fairway will communicate promptly, take reasonable steps to reduce disruption and try to reschedule where practical. If we cannot provide the service, we will agree an alternative with you or refund the amount paid for the service not provided. This section does not remove your statutory rights.
16. Our responsibility to you
Fairway will provide its services with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for losses caused by information, instructions or circumstances outside our reasonable control, except to the extent that our breach of contract or negligence contributed to those losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Customer property
Please look after your personal belongings and encourage participants to do the same. Fairway is not responsible for loss or damage it did not cause. This does not exclude responsibility for loss or damage caused by our negligence.
18. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to put it right.
Email bookings@fairwayminigolf.co.uk or call +44 7938 960 145. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
19. Personal information
We use personal information in accordance with our Privacy information.
20. Changes to these terms
The terms applying to a booking are those accepted when the booking is made, unless a later change is expressly agreed. We may update the terms for future bookings, with the updated date shown at the top of this page.
21. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
The courts of England and Wales may hear disputes. Consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts where they live where applicable law gives them that right; these terms do not restrict those rights.
